The Ups and Downs Of the Game Last Night

I was at Arco last night to catch the Kings v. Bulls. Last night, the Kings had so many good things happen, but also had lots of bad things happen. All of the good things happened in the first half of the game and after that it all went downhill. For example, Tyreke Evans had 13 points in the first half. He drove to the basket, then passed it outside. So he did a little bit of everything in the first half. He passed, he shot and he rebounded. And everybody else did the same thing as Tyreke in the first half. Everything was clicking.

All of the bad things that happened happened in the second half. For example, Tyreke only scored 4 points in the second half and was not near as consistent. And the rest of the team followed in the same way. The Kings could not consistently run a play and make it work. It was basically a scrappy offense. But it wasn't just their offense. The defense couldn't get the stops consistently.

As a fan, going from the first half to the second half was really hard. We were ahead at the half by over 10 points, and when they came back I asked myself if I was watching the same game. It was a real downer to lose, but to stay positive what they did in the first half obviously worked. If it was their defense choice or if it was their lineup - whatever they did worked. I hope they do it again.

I feel like the biggest problem is that there's no true leader on the floor, like a Kobe or an Alan Iverson or a Paul Pierce. We have leaders like Francisco Garcia and Carl Landry but they don't play them enough to where they can lead the team. You can't lead the team from the bench.

Anyway, that's what I have to say. See you next time. Gooooo Kings!

The Kings Have A Chance

If you fallow Kings basketball, then you probably know that they are 4 & 9. Also you might know that they are 2 and 8 in their last 10 games. Yes this is all true and disappointing for all of us to see and read. But this gives us a opportunity to make a big comeback and surprise everyone. As you might have noticed in the rankings that the Lakers are ranked 3rd even though they have the most wins. My theory is that they did that because the Lakers have been at the top for a couple of years now and they have grown tired of them and want someone new. Well, if we go on a big win streak and we're unbeatable for say the next 15 games and the other teams in our division go cold we could steal the division and go into first place. Also we would shoot up in the rankings. Can''t wait to see if my prediction is right.

GO KINGS !!!!!!!!
